Plan Overview
With the Upfront Plan, you will pay the full tuition amount prior to starting your program.
Total Program Cost
$20,000
Why choose the Upfront Plan?
• In many cases, this is the most cost-effective tuition option.
• If you like the price of the Upfront tuition plan, but do not have the funds on hand, you might consider Climb Credit financing. Climb Credit is our preferred loan partner who can help you finance your Upfront tuition in monthly payments.
Plan Overview
Climb Credit allows you to finance your App Academy tuition as monthly installments. Because there is an interest rate charged, it will be more expensive than Upfront pricing, but less expensive than our options for paying once you have a job. You can get a personal quote at Climb Credit without impacting your credit score.
Total Program Cost
Our Upfront Plan price of $20,000, plus interest charged by Climb Credit. As of March 2023, interest rates range from 8.6% to 20.09%.
Why choose the Climb Credit Plan?
• Access to the lower Upfront tuition price at App Academy
• Ability to pay over time in monthly payments
• Customizable terms
• Able to get a quote with no credit score impact
Plan Overview
With the ISA, once you've graduated and have a job earning at least $50,000, you’ll begin to pay back tuition in monthly installments equal to 15% of your gross monthly income. You’ll continue making these payments for 36 months or until you’ve reached the ISA maximum ($31,000) - whichever comes first. No deposit required. This plan is not available to California residents.
Total Program Cost
• If placed after graduation: $31,000
• If not placed after graduation: $0
Why choose the ISA?
• All tuition costs are deferred until after you have a job
• Does not require a credit check or minimum current income
• Placement Protection: Qualifying students do not pay any tuition under this plan if they do not find a job after graduation. Terms & conditions apply.
Plan Overview
With the Deferred Plan, once you've graduated and found a job, you will be required to make a flat monthly payment for your tuition. This plan is only available to California residents for this program.
Total Program Cost
• If placed after graduation: $31,000
• If not placed after graduation: $0
Why choose the Deferred Plan?

You do not need to be a US citizen to enroll in any of App Academy’s courses. All international students are eligible for the Upfront Plan. However, to be eligible for the Deferred or ISA tuition plans, students must either be a U.S. citizen or be eligible to work in the United States without needing a visa sponsorship for a duration that is longer than the job search eligibility period.
See these sections of our Tuition page for individual tuition plans offered by program:
Admission to every App Academy program and payment plan require these minimum criteria:
In addition to these minimum criteria, individual tuition plans may carry additional requirements:
Upfront Tuition: The Upfront tuition plan has no additional requirements above the minimums stated above.
Climb Credit Financing: In addition to the minimum requirements for App Academy, to utilize Climb Credit financing a student must:
Income Share Agreement (ISA): In addition to the minimum requirements, to qualify for the Income Share Agreement (ISA) plana student must:
Deferred Tuition: In addition to the minimum requirements, to qualify for the Deferred Tuition plan a student must:
The Deferred Tuition and Income Share Agreement (ISA) plans are very similar, but have a few key differences:
Under both tuition plans, students pay all of their program costs after they get hired and meet a minimum salary threshold.
The main difference is that under the Deferred Tuition plan students make a fixed monthly payment, whereas under the ISA the monthly payment is set at 15% of your monthly income. Both payment plans complete after 36 months.
See program specific information on the costs associated with these plans:
California residents may select from the Upfront, Climb Credit, and Deferred Tuition plans.
Students in California may not select the Income Share Agreement (ISA) plan. Instead, the Deferred Tuition plan offers a similar option for these residents.
There is no credit inquiry or income verification performed for the ISA.
