What is Placement Protection?

Placement Protection is offered as part of our tuition plans that are powered by Climb Credit (Deferred Tuition and Financed Tuition), providing App Academy grads with:

Full Tuition Forgiveness (100%)

If they are not placed in a full-time position earning $50,000+ within 36 months of graduation.

Partial Tuition Forgiveness (30%)

If they are placed in a full-time position earning $50,000+ in the 25-36 month time frame after graduation.

Partial Tuition Forgiveness (20%)

If they are placed in in a full-time position within 24 months of graduation where their first year compensation is between $50,000 and $60,000.

Tuition Offers and Scholarships

The following offers and scholarships are aimed at breaking down access barriers and helping to nurture our next wave of all-star Software Engineers!

Inspiration Scholarship

Get $1,000 off your tuition upon your enrollment in one of our coding bootcamps when one of our alumni refers you to App Academy (a/A).

Eligibility: Open to all prospective learners who have not yet enrolled in an a/A coding bootcamp. Applicable to all payment plan options.

How to receive the scholarship:

• If you haven’t applied to a/A:
1) Complete an application to one of our coding bootcamps.
‍Important Note: For the ‘How did you hear about us?’ question, please select Alumni as your answer, and then enter the First and Last Name of the Alumni who is referring you when prompted.
2) Complete the Admissions Process.
3) Once you have been accepted, have selected a payment plan and are ready to enroll, the Inspiration Scholarship ($1,000) will be deducted from your total tuition cost.

• If you have applied to a/A:
1) Please reach out to your Admissions Specialist and provide them with the First and Last Name of the Alumni who is referring you.
2) Complete the Admissions Process.
3) Once you have been accepted, have selected a payment plan and are ready to enroll, the Inspiration Scholarship ($1,000) will be deducted from your total tuition cost.

Timeframe: Prospective learners must complete the applicable steps outlined in the description above and enroll in an a/A coding bootcamp by December 31, 2024 in order to claim the scholarship.
